ProMarkt upgrades to Compex Commerce 3.47
The Heidelberg software provider Compex Systemhaus GmbH maintains a cooperative partnership with ProMarkt for more than 13 years now. At the end of 2010, ProMarkt decided to enlarge the standard software solution Compex Commerce by the components CRM, e-business and BI.
In 2011, the release upgrade to Compex Commerce 3.47 was successfully carried out. This laid the foundation for the integrated management of the more complex multi-channel processes.
By fall 2011, Compex Commerce will ensure the complete connection of all stores with the ProMarkt online shop that was realized with Intershop. This allows the customers to order goods online and to pick them up in the store. Online returns and repairs may be processed by the stores. The new online shop also features a search function that checks whether a requested article is available in a specific store.
"Thanks to its process-oriented and flexible architecture, Compex is far ahead of other systems in multi-channel marketing", says Jörg Kiss, Senior Product Manager at Compex. "Plus, it causes little running costs in comparison to other merchandise management systems", adds Patricius Krause, Senior Sales Manager at Compex.
In the REWE Group, Compex Commerce is also used as merchandise management system for the central warehouses and stores of the international discounter PENNY.
