Easy implementation

The implementation of a new merchandise management, logistics or accounting software is challenging. In order to minimize the project costs and risks, we have developed the 2BEE® concept. It consists of the Best Enterprise Engineering (BEE) process model and the corresponding software tool, the Business Engineering Environment (BEE), i.e. 2BEE.

With the 2BEE concept you can plan and realize Compex Commerce projects and organize the entire life cycle of Compex Commerce by taking into account the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Our 2BEE concept takes advantage of marketable methodologies. Depending on the scope of applications and the project phase, you may choose from rather traditional or rather agile methods, such as SCRUM. The right method for implementing the adaptation depends on the degree, by which it differs from the Compex Commerce standard:

  • install and commerce (IAC)
    IAC is suitable for you, if you want to use a standard component without major changes or parameterizations being required.
  • model driven installation (MDI)
    MDI is suitable for you, if you want to use a component that requires adaptations of the model and design (in addition to the IAC adaptations).
  • model driven engineering (MDE)
    MDE is suitable for you, if you want to use a component that requires adaptations of the core software (in addition to the MDI adaptations).

Small and medium-sized as well as large enterprises benefit from the 2BEE concept. It allows all of them to use approved standards for software implementation, engineering and management processes. The 2BEE concept thus serves as work instruction and communication basis.

The 2BEE concept pursues the following aims:

  • Minimization of project risks
    The 2BEE concept defines standardized procedures and describes the corresponding results and project roles in charge. This increases the transparency and thus makes the projects easier to schedule. Deviations from the schedule and risks can be recognized at an early stage. The processes are thus easier to manage and the project success remains in the focus.
  • Quality improvement and assurance
    The standardized process model - the 2BEE concept - ensures that the expected results correspond to the defined quality. Defined interim results can thus be checked at an early stage. The 2BEE concept ensures a uniform result structure and software solution.
  • Improved communication among all project members
    The standardized and uniform description of all documents is the basis for the mutual understanding of all project members and helps to reduce frictions between users and project members. The Compex helpdesk with its requirements management is the central information platform that ensures a uniform communication.
